Traceability is the ability to connect a physical item to the records that describe it. LiveWire is building this connection around products, SKUs, received inventory, batch identifiers, and intentionally published reports.
Current documented capabilities
- Published products have stable product URLs, titles, strengths, and SKUs.
- Verified laboratory reports can be stored as individual WordPress records with product, batch, laboratory, method, date, and document relationships.
- Reports can be labeled current, historical, superseded, or withdrawn.
- Documentation availability can be stated by product and batch without implying universal coverage.

- Source documentation: retain available supplier and identity records.
- Received inventory: record the received item and packaging identifiers.
- Internal batch identification: associate an internal reference with the inventory record.
- Testing where performed: connect the submitted sample, laboratory, method, date, and report.
